Lyanel

Lyanel is an experimental artist working across fashion, textiles and digital painting. Since 2014, she has also been creating avant-garde jewellery and unique handcrafted pieces under the brand Lyanel Handmade.

After graduating from the National School of Fine Arts in Abidjan, her travels and interest in spiritualities and mythologies have deeply influenced her artistic practice, shaping a contemporary hybridity rooted in cultural syncretism. Her jewellery often incorporates cowrie shells, combined with seed beads, pearls and semi-precious materials.

Her work has also been presented in showrooms organised by New Afro in Germany.
