Maria Bayer is an emerging artist, model and student in communication design with Congolese and German background.
She has been interested in art since her childhood in Benin, where she began dancing and painting at the age of three. She worked on her skills while attending school and completed an internship with the artist Christiane Schauder two years ago.
In 2024, she showed her first painting "a postcard from within", which is an open letter to herself. The print version of that art-piece can be purchased on the New Afro ART.store.
